Executive board

The Executive Board at Tarsus Group plc, answerable to the Main Board, focuses on day to day trading issues, best practice, cost control, driving revenues and human resources.

Clive Smith  Clive Smith, (Non-executive Director), joined the Company in June 1998. He has been in the exhibitions industry for all of his working life and is the founder of the Labelex Group of companies. He joined United Trade Press Limited in 1966 as a sales manager in its exhibition division. He left that company in 1974 to set up his own business, Clive Smith & Associates. In 1979 he established Labelex to incorporate the exhibition interests of that business and to launch the Labelex exhibition in the United Kingdom.


Bill Jage, (Off-Price Specialist Show, CEO Emeritus), co-founded the Off-Price Specialist Center, which produces the Off-Price Specialist Shows and Off-Price Apparel magazine, in 1995. He has nearly forty years of entrepreneurial experience in the apparel retail, consulting and jobbing fields. Since Tarsus Group acquired the Off-Price Specialist Center in 1999, he continued to lead the off-price division into new areas of growth and product development until 2006. He has a degree in law and was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar Association in 1973. Bill Jage


  Steve Krogulski, (Chief Executive Officer, Tarsus Expositions USA), directed the Labelexpo Americas event from February 1995 until 2006. As CEO for Tarsus USA, he has played a critical role in leading the company's expansion into new industry sectors including Packaging and Anti-Aging Medicine. Prior to joining Tarsus, Stephen worked for the Marriott Corporation.  

Virginia Kern, was appointed a director of the Company in June 2008. As Chairman for Fairs & Exhibitions for the last 15 years, Virginia's leadership has seen the biennial Dubai Air Show become not only the region's major event, but globally, one of the aviation industry's most important events. Following the acquisition of F&E in November 2007, The Dubai Air Show is now Tarsus' largest exhibition. Virginia Kern
